Recipes!

Here I will be putting up recipes of the food that I make for the Scout Camp and other Weekend classes!   Enjoy!  Amounts depend on how big the group is, but here’s the Basic Recipes!

CAROL’S WORLD FAMOUS HOMEMADE CHILI

Lightly brown (in a little bit of oil):

One large onion (chopped)

One pound of meat (deer, beef, turkey, or 6 veggie burgers if you are a vegetarian)

Add in:

One large (28 oz) can of tomato sauce (I like the taste of Hunts the best)

Two small (15 oz) cans of CHILI beans (I like Great Value brand, but any will do)

1/2 small can of water

Chop up a few cloves of garlic (depending on YOUR taste)

One green pepper, chopped

and chili powder to taste  (I keep adding more and more as it cooks)

Simmer for about an hour, to desired thickness and enjoy!

Next up…..my homemade BBQ sauce that goes great on cheesey potatoes!  and on Chicken, and what I use in my famous “pulled Pork”.   YUM!!!
